"KAJ is the musical brainchild of Bristol singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Kerry Ann Smith. Bristol-born and life-long singer, Kerry Smith, has a distinctive agility and emotive delivery, which has set her in place as one of Bristol’s best loved singers currently on the scene. Described as having a voice “like a ribbon of gold”, she keeps up with her reputation in her new EP with a previously unheard aesthetic. Sitting somewhere between 90s grunge, indie and pop, the whole sound is made completely unique by her wonderfully intricate vocal lines. Laced in nostalgia while being something completely new, the songs tug at us from a place that we all know quite deeply."
